We proudly celebrate the successful completion of the first round of the Roots of Hope Program, implemented by Panaga with the support of Novi. Over four weeks, children and mothers in Shariya Camp participated in engaging sessions that promoted mental well-being, positive parenting, healthy lifestyles, life skills, creativity, and resilience. Through psychosocial support, interactive learning, storytelling, games, and handicraft activities, participants strengthened their confidence, relationships, and hope for the future. We sincerely thank Novi and our dedicated team, facilitators, and every participant who made this first round a meaningful success.
Panaga Organization Hosts Medical Outreach for Yazidi Communities in Shariya
Panaga Organization welcomed Dr. Weiss Decker from the Global Medical Organization for a community medical outreach serving Yazidi families in Shariya and nearby villages. Throughout the four-day visits, we organized four pop-up medical clinics in Old Rikava, Old Kharshaniya, Old Sina, and the Panaga Center in Shariya, providing basic health screenings, nutritional guidance, and essential over-the-counter medicines. We thank Dr. Weiss Decker for his service and Global Medical Organization for donating essential medicines.
Family Run Event
Youth and kids of Shariya town, camp and the surrounding village ran for a cleaner and more beautiful Shariya at the end the month of April! 300 participants took part in the run, they expressed their joy and gratitude for the event. Faces of the Pop-up School in Old Kharshaniya Village, attended by more than 50 kids, the village was very excited and welcoming of the program. The villagers showed great support and volunteered to make the program a success. The program was funded by Zarok e.V.

Family Run Event II “FRE”
April 5, 2025, for the second time in row!A total of 300 children took part in the run.The Fumily Run Event was preceeded by a series of encourging activities from the period of January to March 2025, the team visited six schools in Shariya town to deliver sessions on pollution and plastic waste. During this period, the FRE team also organized five cleanup campaigns along the roads of old Shariya and Grepan village.A big thank you to the event sponsors, families, children, and volunteers whose support and contributions made this program a success.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
25 November – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.Panaga celebrated the 25th of November by hosting an event with families. During the gathering, participants shared their thoughts and experiences of overcoming grief, violence, trauma, and depression. To symbolize resilience and empowerment, participants left their marks on a wall, showcasing the strength of women today. The wall was inscribed with the phrase “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” (Women, Life, Freedom).
