The 3rd of August, we commemorate the 9th anniversary of the Ezidi genocide, one of the most brutal of 21st century. A day and a year we will never forget.
After 9 years, Yezidi community is still seeking justice and recognition. As Panaga Org. Team, we’ve had the honor of working along these incredible, strong and resilient people. Panaga’s aim is to provide resources, humanitarian aid, safe spaces, psycho-social, mental health and educational service to IDPs “Internally Displaced People”, orphans, genocide and ISIS captivity survivors and widows.
Even if the international community, the news, the media have forgotten – we have not. We invite you this day to stand with us and remember. Remember everyone that has lost someone, remember so that history doesn’t repeat. We are more than the tragedies that fell upon us. We lived through dark times. Even after the darkest night the sun still rises.
