3rd, Aug. marks as Anas’s 12th birthday

When Anas first opened his eyes to the world, ISIS had just attacked Sinjar. During the attack, Anas, his mother, and his brother were held in captivity. About four years later, Anas was found in the orphanage recognized by his birthmark. The whereabouts of his mother are unknown to the date. Anas is free now, but the absence of his mother has left a big gap in him and his siblings. He dreams of seeing her again and getting the chance to get to know her. Since his freedom Panaga has been supporting Anas and his family through different programs, we are helping Anas smile again, find moments of happiness, and heal from the trauma he has lived through. As of today on 20th, Aug, World Humanitarian Day, let’s stand with Anas and all Ezidi victims of the genocide who still live in the suffering
