Championing Girls

Sipal, 11 years, she escaped her home after ISIS invaded their birthplace. She now lives
in a rented house in Shariya town. Sipal’s father is a commander with Peshmarga fighting
ISIS. 
After enrolling in EDGE Institute’s educational and child support program in Shariya
Town, Sipal’s role was not much different than her father’s, she proved herself to be the
leading character in all the community events held by the Panaga Organization at the
end of each three Art therapy program, she draw beautiful paintings, lead several plays,
and sang proudly! 
Championing girls, their strength and successes, making them chances and letting them
dream big, they are the future and next generation leaders. Sipal is currently attending
formal school and she is doing a great job at her studies, and she is one of the top
students.
